Job description
What We're Researching
We're hiring advanced chemistry experts to provide ongoing subject matter contributions for a long-term research initiative. This work feeds directly into complex scientific datasets that require graduate-level understanding of chemical principles. Your expertise will help ensure the accuracy and depth of technical scientific information.
How It Works
You will complete various asynchronous desktop tasks that evaluate and generate complex chemistry content. This involves reviewing scientific text, solving advanced chemical problems, and annotating technical data based on your domain knowledge. The tasks flow through an online platform where you can review materials and submit your expert evaluations. You will work independently to provide detailed, accurate responses to specialized prompts.
Who This Is For
We welcome candidates who hold either a Master's degree or a PhD in chemistry or a closely related discipline. This includes specialists in organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, and analytical chemistry. You should have a strong academic background and be comfortable tackling complex, graduate-level scientific problems.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate complex chemistry problems and provide detailed, scientifically accurate solutions
- Review technical scientific texts for accuracy and clarity
- Provide domain-specific annotations on specialized chemical datasets
- Navigate an asynchronous platform to complete varied expert tasks
Requirements
- Hold a Master's degree or PhD in chemistry or a closely related field
- Strong grasp of advanced chemical principles and problem-solving
- Comfortable working independently on technical desktop tasks
- Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex scientific concepts
Who can apply
- Must be 18 years or older and fluent in English.
- Located in Canada.
- Education: Master's in Chemistry (or related field), current PhD student in Chemistry, or PhD/Doctorate in Biology (or related biological sciences).
- Must be willing to complete identity verification, a project-instructions assessment, and submit original work.
- Willing to describe their studies, institution, specialization, and any previous AI training project experience.
