Job description

This is a remote, project-based role for current law students with strong academic backgrounds and foundational legal research and analysis skills. You will complete tasks spanning legal document review, case research, statutory analysis, and structured legal annotations — applying your legal training to real-world materials under the guidance of experienced practitioners. Work is over the next 2–3 weeks, asynchronous, and assigned on a project-by-project basis, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week for the projects you accept. This position offers exceptional pay, direct exposure to complex legal work, and a meaningful addition to your resume ahead of graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze legal documents including contracts, agreements, filings, and regulatory materials
  • Conduct legal research and synthesize findings into clear, structured written summaries and annotations
  • Apply legal reasoning to evaluate document compliance, identify issues, and support citation-backed conclusions
  • Produce structured annotations with precise source citations including document name, page number, and verbatim text
  • Follow detailed review guidelines and maintain high accuracy and consistency across assigned tasks

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school (1L, 2L, or 3L)
  • Strong academic record demonstrating analytical rigor and legal reasoning ability
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, well-organized legal analysis
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed guidelines, and manage time effectively across asynchronous tasks

Preferred qualifications

  • Coursework or concentration in contracts, real estate, energy law, administrative law, or regulatory compliance
  • Prior experience in a legal internship, clinic, law review, or moot court setting
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw, Harvey, LexisNexis, or Bloomberg Law
